| 5/26/2009 - Gallup Theft from Motor Vehicle | On Friday, May 8, 2009 between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. a vehicle located at Gallup, 1001 Gallup Dr., was broken into causing $2,600.00 in damage. The vehicle had its front passenger door window shattered, door paneling scratched and seat cut. The incident was captured on video surveillance.
Video surveillance shows the suspect enters the vehicle and takes property, a GPS unit. He arrives in a late 1990s 2 door teal Pontiac Grand AM with a sunroof and spoiler. Other vehicle break-ins have occurred in the area with similar suspect and vehicle descriptions.
The suspect is believed to be a light skinned male with short dark brown hair. He is seen wearing a white sleeveless shirt and dark colored basketball shorts.

| | 5/21/2009 - Kum and Go Robbery | On Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 3:27 a.m. officers were called to 7152 Pacific Street, Kum and Go, to investigate a robbery. The clerk told officers that she was standing outside the front door talking to a friend when a suspicious party started walking up to the business. The clerk went inside the gas station to help the customer who asked to buy some cigarettes. When the clerk turned back around the suspect stated he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect took an undetermined amount of money from the business and fled the area on foot. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
 Suspect: Black male wearing large sunglasses, light gray striped shirt, black pants, black boots and walked with a limp.

| | 5/20/2009 - Arson at the Blackstone Building | On Monday, May 18, 2009 at approx 9:30 p.m. fire fighters were called to 302 South 36th Street, Blackstone Building, for a working fire. Investigators determined that the fire was started in a trash can near one of the buildings entrance. The fire destroyed the trash can, shattered nearby glass and activated the buildings Halon System (fire sprinklers.)
At this time, damage from the fire is estimated around $4,100.00. After further investigation, the suspect’s crime was captured on the buildings security cameras. The suspect is an unknown race male with a thin build wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored shorts and light colored shoes. The white t-shirt has a large design on the front and back.
The video shows the suspect walk down to the trash can and start the fire. The suspect starts to leave and returns to look at the fire again. The suspect then leaves and doesn’t return.

| | 5/19/2009 - Walgreen`s Thefts | The Omaha Police Department is asking for assistance from the public in identifying a suspect involved in multiple thefts. The Criminal Investigations Bureau is investigating a series of thefts from Omaha area Walgreen’s stores. Detectives have been informed that a similar suspect is committing the same crime in the Lincoln area. The Walgreen’s store manager who reported the below incident provided video surveillance footage of the suspect.
On Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 7:37 p.m. the suspect entered the Walgreen’s located at 2323 L Street in Omaha. He approached the cosmetics counter, went into the employee area and is seen accessing the fragrance cabinet. He took multiple bottles of cologne, most in boxes, and shoved them into his pants. He has done this at multiple Walgreen’s and when confronted by an employee threatened to harm her.
Video surveillance shows the suspect is a black male with short black hair. He is seen wearing a red and white FUBU jersey and black track pants with white vertical stripes down each leg and black sneakers.

| | 5/12/2009 - Subway Burglary | On Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at 12:40 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at the Subway Restaurant, 14235 Q Street. Upon arrival, officers observed that the drive thru window on the east side of the building was broken out.
Officers met with the Subway manager who allowed them access to search the building. Upon entry officers noticed a hammer lying on a stool next to the drive thru window. The manager stated the hammer did not belong to the store, it is believed the suspect brought it with him to smash the window.
Video surveillance shows the suspect enter the safe area, crouch down, place a flashlight in his mouth and attempt to access the safe. He was unsuccessful in opening the safe.
The suspect is a white male with shaggy brown hair and glasses. He is seen dressed in all black.
